Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9/17/2026
MUSKOX LLC ("MUSKOX," "we," "us," or "our") designs and builds attachments for skid steers, tractors, and other loaders. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
This policy covers our website at muskoxmn.com (the "Site"). It also covers how we handle your information when you deal with us in other ways: phone calls, text messages, email, quotes and orders, equipment demos, warranty and service requests, trade shows, and events.
It doesn't cover other companies' websites, even when we link to them. That includes MUSKOX dealer websites and third-party financing applications. Those companies have their own privacy policies.
Questions? Email info@muskoxmn.com or call 218-288-1905.
The short version
-
We collect the contact and equipment details you give us when you ask for a quote, book a demo, call or text us, or buy from us.
-
Our Site uses cookies, pixels, and similar tools for analytics and advertising, and to identify the businesses (and sometimes the people) who visit. Several of these tools belong to other companies, including Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, HubSpot, and RB2B. Our Cookie Policy lists them.
-
We may record and transcribe phone calls, and we use software, including AI tools, to summarize calls for our sales and service team.
-
We don't sell personal information for money. We do share some information with advertising platforms, and some state laws call that a "sale" or "sharing." You can opt out.
-
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we have about you.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
-
Contact details: your name, company, job title, email address, phone number, and mailing, shipping, or billing address.
-
Equipment details: the machine you run (make, model, hydraulic flow), the MUSKOX products you're interested in, and where you work.
-
What you tell us: form submissions, emails, text messages, chat messages, and notes from calls, demos, and meetings.
-
Order and customer records: quotes, orders, invoices, payment history, shipping details, warranty registrations, and service history.
-
Your marketing preferences, such as whether you've signed up for or unsubscribed from our emails or texts.
-
Job application details, if you apply to work at MUSKOX.
If you pay by card or bank transfer, our payment processor handles your payment details. We don't keep full card numbers.
Phone calls and text messages
Calls with our team may be recorded. We may create a written transcript of a recorded call and an automated summary of it. When you text us, including through the "Text us" button on our Site, we keep your phone number and the messages.
Information collected automatically on our Site
When you visit the Site, we and the companies whose tools we use collect some information automatically:
-
device and browser information, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers
-
how you use the Site, such as the pages you view, what you click, how long you stay, the website that sent you, and the ad or link you clicked to get here
-
your approximate location, based on your IP address
-
recordings of your visit that show mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling, and heatmaps that combine this activity across many visitors
-
cookie and pixel identifiers
Our Cookie Policy explains these tools and how to turn them off.
Information from other sources
-
Advertising platforms. If you fill out a lead form on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or another platform, the platform sends us what you entered.
-
Visitor identification service. RB2B may tell us which company a Site visitor works for, and in some cases the visitor's name, job title, professional profile (such as LinkedIn), and business email address. It gets this information by matching browser and device data against databases it maintains.
-
Business data sources. We use company websites, business directories, data providers, and other public sources to find businesses that may need our products.
-
Dealers. An authorized MUSKOX dealer may pass along your details when you ask them about our products.
-
Trade shows and events, when you give your details to our team.
We don't ask for sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, health information, or precise GPS location through the Site. Please don't send it to us.
2. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
-
answer your questions and send quotes, pricing, and product information
-
schedule demos and follow up afterward
-
process, ship, and invoice orders
-
handle warranty claims, service, parts, and support
-
connect you with an authorized dealer in your area
-
send marketing emails, and send marketing text messages if you've agreed to receive them
-
show MUSKOX ads on other websites and apps, and find out which ads work
-
understand how people use the Site so we can improve it
-
train our team and review sales and service conversations, including by transcribing and summarizing recorded calls
-
block spam, bots, and fraudulent ad clicks, and keep our systems secure
-
meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and enforce our agreements
3. How we share your information
We share personal information with:
-
Service providers that handle parts of our business for us. These include our CRM, phone, texting, and email providers, our website host, analytics providers, transcription and AI tools, accounting and order-management software, shipping carriers, and payment processors. We give them the information they need to do that work.
-
Authorized MUSKOX dealers, when you ask about buying, a demo, parts, or service in their area.
-
Advertising and analytics companies, including Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok, and HubSpot. They collect information directly through the cookies and pixels on our Site. We may also send some of them your contact details in hashed (scrambled) form, such as when you submit a form on our Site, so they can measure our ads and decide who sees them.
-
RB2B, our visitor identification service, which collects information through our Site as described above.
-
Financing companies, if you ask about or apply for equipment financing. The lender's own privacy policy covers your application.
-
Government agencies, courts, and others, when the law requires it or when we need to protect the rights, property, or safety of MUSKOX, our customers, or anyone else.
-
A buyer, investor, or successor, if MUSKOX is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of the business.
-
Anyone else, when you ask us to or give us permission.
Text messaging
We don't sell or rent mobile phone numbers. We don't share your text messaging opt-in or consent with any third party, except the service providers that send and receive our text messages.
4. Advertising, analytics, and visitor identification
We run ads on Google, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. To do that, we put code from those companies on our Site. That code lets them recognize your browser, record what you do here, and use that to show you MUSKOX ads elsewhere and to report which ads led to a visit, form, or call. These companies may combine this with information they already have about you, and their own privacy policies govern what they do with it.
We also use session recording and heatmap tools to see how visitors use our pages, and a visitor identification tool to learn which businesses are looking at our products. See the Cookie Policy for the full list.
"Sale" and "sharing" under state privacy laws
We don't sell personal information for money. But when advertising companies collect data through our Site, or when we send them hashed contact details, some state privacy laws may treat that as a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising."
To opt out:
-
Email info@muskoxmn.com or use our contact form and ask us to opt you out of targeted advertising. We'll remove your contact record from the marketing system we use to send contact details to advertising platforms, so we stop sending yours.
-
Use the browser and advertising-industry controls in our Cookie Policy. Most of the data these tools collect is tied to your browser, not your name, so these controls are how you limit it. You'll need to set them on each browser and device you use.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Our Site doesn't currently respond to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control browser signals. Use the options above instead.
5. Your choices
-
Email: click "unsubscribe" at the bottom of any marketing email.
-
Text messages: reply STOP to stop receiving texts from us. Reply HELP for help.
-
Phone calls: ask us to stop calling and we'll add you to our internal do-not-call list.
-
Cookies and ads: see our Cookie Policy.
-
Visitor identification: you can opt out of RB2B's database at app.retention.com/optout.
If you unsubscribe from marketing, we may still contact you about quotes, orders, warranty, and service.
6. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
-
know what personal information we have about you and get a copy of it
-
correct information that's wrong
-
delete your information
-
opt out of targeted advertising, or of the "sale" or "sharing" of your information
-
withdraw consent you've given us
-
appeal if we turn down your request
Wherever you live, we'll honor requests to see, correct, or delete your information. The exception is information we have to keep, such as order and invoice records needed for taxes, warranty coverage, or product safety. If we can't do what you ask, we'll tell you why.
How to make a request
Email info@muskoxmn.com, call 218-288-1905, or use our contact form. Tell us what you're asking for and how to reach you.
To protect your information, we'll confirm who you are before acting on a request, usually by matching details you give us against what we already have. Someone else can make a request on your behalf if they have your written permission, but we may still ask you to confirm your identity.
We'll respond within 30 days. If we need more time, we'll tell you why and how long it will take. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with "Appeal" in the subject line. We'll respond to an appeal within 45 days.
We won't treat you differently, or charge you a different price, because you used any of these rights.
7. California residents
Section 1 lists the kinds of personal information we collect and where it comes from. Section 2 explains how we use it, and Section 3 lists the types of companies we share it with. We don't collect sensitive personal information to learn about or profile you.
As Section 4 explains, our Site doesn't respond to Do Not Track signals, and other companies collect information about your activity on our Site through the tools listed in our Cookie Policy. They may also collect it on other websites.
California's "Shine the Light" law lets California residents ask whether a business shared their personal information with third parties for those third parties' own direct marketing. We don't do that.
8. Canadian residents
We sell to customers in Canada and handle their personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial laws.
We store and process personal information in the United States, and our service providers may process it in the United States or other countries. While it's there, courts and government authorities in those countries may be able to access it under their laws.
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we have about you, and you can withdraw your consent to how we use it, subject to legal or contractual limits. If withdrawing consent means we can't provide something you've asked for, we'll tell you. Send requests to our privacy contact at info@muskoxmn.com. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
9. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the reasons described in this policy:
-
Customer, order, and warranty records: for as long as we need them for warranty, service, product safety, and tax and accounting purposes.
-
Prospect and inquiry information: while we have a current or possible business relationship with you. After that, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.
-
Cookies and similar identifiers: for the periods described in our Cookie Policy.
10. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including access controls on our business systems. No website, email, or storage system is perfectly secure, though, so we can't guarantee security. Please don't send sensitive information, such as bank or card numbers, by email, text, or web form.
11. Children
Our Site and products are for businesses and adults. The Site isn't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy when our practices or the law change. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when we last changed it. If we make a significant change, we'll post a notice on the Site before the change takes effect.
